[...]. I cannot say enough about this bed. I love the drawers underneath. I use those drawers to store a kinder mat, diapers, wipes, creams, etc. I buy in bulk so it's perfect for me to store all those diapers neatly and out of sight. Also, the bed is low enough for my toddler to graduate to from her crib. We bought a 4 inch mattress to go with so I'm confident in her safety. Unfortunately, the headboard is not connected/does not come with the bed. I bought it anyways and I'm in love with that, too. Room for books and has a hole on the shelves to run cords through. Love it! Entire set is gorgeous and well worth what I paid, which was $1,200 less than other online retailers.

This is my first furniture purchase for my daughter. She will turn two in December. The set was expensive elsewhere but more than reasonalby priced on this site. I have never heard of Meijer before because I live in Florida but I've told everyone about the amazing deal and the quality of the furniture and I only hear positive things in response. I love, love, love the bookcase headboard. I did not know that it was not included with the bed, I had no idea they were separate pieces. My favorite thing about the bed is that it is low and yet is still a twin. My daughter is graduating from crib to bed and I didn't want to buy a toddler bed just to graduate up again. We ordered a mattress that is 4 inch thick (from Sealy?) and it's still low where she won't get hurt. She's too chicken to sleep in it yet but I've got big plans for her.

Looks like a lack of coloring rather than a true vanilla finish. A few blemishes on the finish. Overall looks nice, practical and easy to assemble
