Easy to assemble but the top board is not painted and shows around the mattress. We had to put a skirt on it to cover the bare wood.

      This bed was super easy to put together. I bought 2 for my daughters who share a room. They each helped me with their own. Easy assembly, good and stable (we used wood glue for extra peace of mind). Only problem was a couple pieces weren't coded. However, it only took a few minutes to sort them and figure out where they belonged. We're very happy with the purchase.
