    Nice bed for the price!
    It took my husband and I about 1/2 hour to put together. You definately need a power drill to put all the screws in, though.
    My teenage daughter loves it!

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      I had no trouble assembling this all by myself. The piece is heavy and so I assembled it in the room and in the exact spot I wanted the bed in. I first placed all the pieces in the position they were supposed to be at and then started screwing them in together. The side (edge) dark chocolate panels do not line up exactly but because they get covered by bedding, it doesn't really matter. The bed is sturdy and provides good support. I only have a futon mattress atop the platform bed. I bought a headboard even though this bed can be used by itself. (I haven't used the headboard, just placed it behind the bed). Good, strong piece.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
