Smart Solar Sunjet 150 Mini Water Pump
Powered by the sun! Create your own water feature with the solar powered Sunjet 150 Mini Water Pump by Smart Solar. This low voltage water pump with filter is powered by a supplied separate solar panel that operates in direct sunlight and has 4 different fountain heads. It includes float for deeper water features and has absolutely no operating costs. The 16' cable to the solar panel provides a water flow capacity of 33 gallons per hour and a maximum fountain height up to 10".

            If having the little fountain functioning only during the hours of brightest afternoon sunshine is okay with you, maybe this product will do. If you want to be able to enjoy the sight and sound of moving water during most daylight hours, this product is NOT what you want. The solar power panel doesn't provide any power except in absolutely perfect conditions.... which means totally cloudless blazing afternoon sun. It didn't live up to its advertising as far as I am concerned.

                    I love this fountain. I use them in my bird baths. The birds are attracted to the sound of the splashing water & so are other animals. Also it creates a relaxing sound for me to enjoy whilst in the garden. The only problem I have with them, is that for me- they do not last long- it seems I get "ONE" season (1 year) out of them & then have to buy another one next year. Bottom line, [$] once a year for such enjoyment for me & the birds- I don't mind !

                    This pump is great for the green aspect - no electric wasted. However, it is very small and requires very direct, very intense sun. This would work very well in the southwest. It would be great if it had a rechargeable battery pack to be able to be utilized in the evening time. It is very simple and easy to assemble and use. It has never come close to the image in spraying the water - probably just not enough intense sunlight.

                    Hides well in garden setting/birdbath. Single spray is powerful, but other adaptors weak pressure. The only thing that could really improve it would be a battery back-up/recharger.

                        I bought 2! I have no landscaping skills. This adds a pleasant quality to my yard. The trickling sound is lovely. Birds like to come and play and drink from it. If you place the panel in direct light it can run for hours. (Be sure to get mosquito repellent and larvae killer).
                        Because it has no battery pack it will not store energy to run when the sun is not out. This is okay though, if it is dark out I probably will not be out there. Or, I can turn on smaller battery operated ones.
                        I bought 2 of a more expensive kind, with a remote and battery pack, but one never worked, and only ran with a remote for 2 hours at a time.

                        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
