      I purchased this for the solar power and have not put to use yet. I do not want to put out yet because of the temperatures. When I inspected everything, it appears that it is well made and functional.

        I ordered the blue Koi fish fountain after my successful purchase of the frog fountain earlier in the summer. It is a perfect compliment to my flower pots which are arranged on an old picnic table in my yard. The price was right, it's easy to assemble and it's fun to watch! I would recommend it to a friend or consider purchasing one as a gift to other avid gardeners.

        I used in a small Whimsical garden that I just constructed, surrounded by rabbit & fairy statues, lots of flowers, and gazing balls. My fountain is the focal point of my small garden.
        I was surprised that it only runs when sun is shining directly on the solar panel, unlike solar lights that charge up.
        I am glad that it doesn't attrack birds because I did not want them congregating on my wrought iron fence surrounding the garden.:) It's really pretty. I through some orange glass beads in bottom that simulate goldfish.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        Didn't know that if the sun is not directly on it that it won't work - period. Actually have not seen it work YET and moved the panel a few times. What grates me the most is there is no battery back up so I can't even see if the pump works and if that's the issue. VERY expensive water dish for my dogs. If I could find the box I'd return it.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

          This is a wonderful garden addition. I have had to move it several times for weeding and landscaping and within seconds it can be back up and running.
          Our poodle thinks it is her personal fountain but otherwise it holds water well.
