I bought these boots in the Midsummer Blue pattern at Meijer and absolutely love them!

After signing on to do some environmental education work (including hiking through the woods and pond-dipping) I realized I needed better footwear. These boots are very comfortable and cute to boot! While the blue/green pattern of the foot blended well with the outdoor environment, they're pretty bright, which is perfect for wearing them out on rainy days. They're really comfortable too--I wore them several hours hiking through the woods and they worked just fine.

It was fantastic to be able to try them on in the store. I normally wear a 6.5 or 7 and my foot is slightly wide. The size 7 worked just fine for me. They're wide enough that I can tuck jeans in, but high enough that I didn't get my pants legs wet or muddy during the hike. I'm 5'1", so it's especially nice that they're not so high that they are uncomfortable on my leg. I don't have especially big legs, but I think these shouldn't be a problem for most people, although they are a bit slimmer at the ankle than most rubber boots. To me this is a bonus, since my foot felt secure while hiking even on hills.

They also hose off well, since the print is a piece of stretchy fabric bonded to the inside of the clear material the boot is made of. They are a bit more flexible than rubber boots. I definitely will wear them with socks, since my feet have a tendency to sweat in such a waterproof environment.

I had considered buying them online but finding them at Meijer made me really happy, since I could check out the blue color for myself (they didn't have the black pattern at my store). One thing to think about: Online reviewers mentioned the pattern colors being a lot different on each foot, i.e., the hot pink part showed up on one foot but not the other. By finding them in-store, I was able to get a pair that didn't have that issue.

Finally, I understand these boots are American made, which is the icing on the cake. I'm really happy with these and highly recommend them!
