      My grandson loves baseball and he turns his baseball cap backwards to be the catcher.
      This lightweight mask works great for him until he's old enough to handle the heavier catcher's mask.

      Bad Visibility

      Comments about SKLZ Fielding Mask Full-Face Protection:

      My daughter had to have a fielding mask to play softball. We found that the ones that are designed like this actually make it harder for the child to see the ball coming at them because of their bulky design. Ground balls go unseen and the more dangerous line drives cannot be seen until they are on top of the player. They make one that is more like the batting helmet masks that is actually a better option for players.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
