This works well, on a perfectly clean floor. However, it's really not that great. Worth the money to pay for the next model up. While it heats up fast, it tends to leave streaks on the floor and doesn't really get that "deep clean" you expect with a steam mop. I would use it biweekly on the floors, and occasionally I would borrow grandma's steam mop to actually get that steam cleaned shine you would expect on wood floors.

To top it off, the stick connecting the handle to the steam mop just snapped in half. This time, I'm spending my money on a better model.

I had purchased 2 S3325 Shark Blaster steam cannisters. While (when they did work) they did a credible job, both of them failed at exactly 13 months - one month past the warranty period. Both of them failed the actuation solenoid inside the cannister that turns the steam on and off. One of the two fried inside the unit and only quick thinking prevented a fire. The second one failed in the same manner without it having the chance to start to fry (as I remembered the warning signs from the previous failure).

I contacted Euro-Pro (Shark) to discuss what happened to the units and ask them to check them out to find the cause of each failure. Their response was if I wanted them checked out to send them in for repair with a check.

I know of NO other company who when alerted to a potential severe safety issue would have the gall to tell a customer to send a check to find the problem.

Their bottom line is the bottom line. They have absolutely no concern for consumer safety or the (lack of) quality of their product. I would avoid buying any of their junk for fear that at some time in the near future there is either a fire or worse before they decide that maybe it just might be worth their while to determine the source and cause of a severe problem and fix it. I would classify anything Shark makes as dangerous and unsafe.

The shark steam mop is good at cleaning floors. It produces a good amount of steam and my floors are definitely clean. Just wish it used disposeable pads, dont like the idea of rewashing the pads.

Do not buy, this is a piece of [*]. I had a bissle steamer for years that worked wonderful until it broke. Couldn't find it so bought this one, and there is absolutely no comparison.

I used this product for a few months on my wood floors and worked great. However, after i tried to clean this morning and it would heat up but no water would come out. My warranty was up so I disassembled to find the solution. What I found was that the spring and interior pin for the heater had corodedand melted the interior spout for the water tank. This could not be repaired. Looking for better interior design. heater is too close to water tank.

I clean my wood kitchen floor with the shark. I love how it is dry almost instantly and you can just rinse out the pad and then throw it in the wash machine for your next use.

I'm typically a casual cleaner, but as my 3rd baby gets closer to the crawling stage I am starting to get meticulous about my floors! I hate mopping with traditional mops. Even the swiffer mop pads are a pain and leave the floor streaked and wet forever. The Shark is super easy to use, quick and very effective!!! I have two preschoolers who make a mess of my kitchen floor three times a day and a cat who tracks in dirty snow! Now I can have a clean floor with virtually no hassle. I love it!!!

While this will clean squared off areas, anything else is difficult to do. If you have kids or lots of strange angles buy the next model up.
