Comments about Shaker Dining Chair - Oak - Set of 2:

We have been cutting back like everyone, but were in need for new dining room chairs. I love the shaker style but can't afford to buy the best. So we figured we'd give this a try.

They are extremely difficult to put together with the little allen wrench that constantly slips out of the bolts that don't line up correctly with the fittings on the other end. My husband ended up cracking the wood in one place after struggling with it for a while once it finally tightened.

If you don't mind a not-so-great looking finished product (since they don't really line up so great and if your wood splits) and don't get annoyed by putting things together that aren't made very well, than give it a go. Who knows, maybe you will get ones that fit together better than the ones we got.
