This is my second Colorado. The first was the pre-Coleman (blue), and has been a great boat. Needed another for the growing family. The Coleman (brown) boat is very similar, but there are differences. I think the quality is a notch below the blue model (no boston valves, no skeg) - but am still very happy with this purchase. Tracks OK for an inflatable, and is very stable. Tough to beat this boat in this price range.

The canoe itself appears to be the post 2010 model. It has no skeg which makes tracking harder but this is compensated for by longer and deeper directional strakes along the underside. As per the product description it does not come with a pump. The max load limit has been reduced from 500lbs on the previous models to 400lbs on this model. This might be an issue for two larger people with equipment.

In all I am very pleased and would recommend this product to those in search of a compact, budget but very capable way to get out on the water safely. There is also an excellent user forum for those owners with an interest.

We just bought a house on a lake and wanted a small boat. Looked at kayaks and other small fishing boats, even other inflatables. We decided on the Colorado 2 - person canoe and it was a good choice, especially for us.

No real assembly required, easy to inflate and easy to maneuver in the water. I was impressed that I didn't dump us in the lake when I tried to get into the canoe.

For our purposes - recreational floating and some fishing - it certainly fits the bill.

This boat is rugged as a white-water raft, but glides smoothly and steers easily on a lake. I've only taken it out once so far, but I love it. It's relatively simple to inflate. It's a bit of a wrestle to get back in the bag, and it's on the heavy side, but makes up for it in durability and design. Nice handles, storage compartments. And it's so comfortable, I could sleep in it! I'm really looking forward to using it a lot. This boat was also a very good price for the quality. Meijers' price was $150 cheaper than other online stores,[...]

I bought this canoe because i wanted something very sturdy, does not tip over, and above all, that has the space i needed when inflated, but doesn't take space to transport, because i only have a car.

It was everything i had hoped for and more. Takes less than 10 minutes to inflate with a rechargeable pump, throw the gear in, and you are on your way!

We love this product! We love that it's inflatable so we can carry it with us just about anywhere and in case you're wondering, it's very durable, even when bumping up against rocks, no damage is done. We do a lot of off roading and camping so we'll pack this in our off road vehicle, go drive out somewhere in the middle of nowhere and find a lake or stream, inflate this puppy and just row around, relax, and check out the scenery. We even take it out to the beach and kayak around the harbors and row up to some outdoor restaurants that have docks. Highly recommend this item.

This is our second Colorado, and we absolutely LOVE them. Our first one is 3 years old and floats rapids like a champ. We got the second one for our two 13 year old girls. We don't have a truck, so their deflated size is PERFECT for throwing in the trunk and going. We use them practically every weekend that we can find a river that is running!

Others wish they had got this instead. Every body can tell from distance, that they need to check this one out. Paddles great Just use kayak paddle.Highly recommend, great price value.
