This aquarium replace an AllGlass aquarium and I am very pleased with the aquarium itself, however, the hood is very cheaply made and the light won't stay in place. You cannot adjust it either. Screws won't stay tight and soon as you turn the hood back over to put on tank..light falls out of place. VERY aggravating and can't find anywhere that sells replacements. I would definitely recommend the tank though. I have an Oscar in my 46 gallon and he used to tear up other hoods by knocking them off when he'd hit the top..this one has the acrylic up front so he can't succeed in tearing it up. Love it!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
