Schoenhut Fancy Baby Grand Piano
Schoenhut's award-winning Baby Grand Piano is elegantly designed, yet extremely durable and sturdy. The 30 full-size keys provide your child the opportunity to learn proper "finger stretch," basic music concepts, and playing skills. Lovely chime-like tones are produced by small hammers striking metal rods. Chromatically tuned, the tone never changes nor will the piano ever need tuning. The patented Learning System includes a removable color-coordinated strip that fits behind the keys to guide small fingers from chord to chord. The accompanying songbook contains a collection of familiar tunes. For ages 3 years and up.

      This was bought for my sons 1st B-day. He loves it. When I received it, one of the keys didn't work. No problem, I easily removed the 4 screws needed to remove the top, slid off the from panel and easily pulled out the problem key. It has just gotten stuck, probably from shipping. I replaced the key the way it should be, and closed it up. Havn't had a problem since. It was the very bottom keyand good thing I fixed it, because it was the first key he hit (and seems to be his favorite).

          My daughter got this for her 3rd birthday. I researched many different toy pianos and keyboards and decided on this one and it is great. My daughter loves it and the piano helps the kids learn to play with a real finger spread. The sound is not like a real piano but a real toy sized grand piano like this is several thousand dollars so no surprise there. If you want to hear it in action someone posted a video of it on youtube. It sounds like an xylophone, but it isn't bad. I would but this again for sure.

            The piano was a gift for a 2-year old. Although it was intended to be a toy, I wanted something well-constructed; easy to assemble with realistic sound quality. This piano is all that plus some. It looks like a nice piece of furniture instead of a cheap kid's toy. It's been a month; is getting a lot of play time and still looks grand new.
