this guitar is for my daughter. I did have one friend who plays look at it and there is a problem with the bridge holding one string too close and a raised wood piece that starts to grade downwards too early, keeping her from making one note.

I bought two of these guitars for my 6 year old daughters, and they are prefect. The size is great for a starter guitar, and the weight is light enough for them to hold without getting tired. Meijer.com had the lowest prices by far. I will definitely be shopping here again.

I bought the guitar for a nine year old disadvantaged student who expressed an interest in music. It's been perfect for him. It looks and sounds real but it's small enough and affordable enough (for me!) to allow him to explore a dream - not usually an option for him.

My grandson, age 5, wasn't thrilled when he opened the package (though his sister, age 6, was jealous). But in the days since Christmas, he has returned to it repeatedly and has learned to adjust the strings, strum and is experimenting with different ways to make sounds. My daughter, who is a trained musician, is pleased with the sound quality and we both think it's just a matter of time before his experimentation leads to music.

We wanted a real guitar for our 4 year old to play with and start learning on. I cannot believe how inexpensive this is for such good quality.
