Schoenhut 30-Key Classic Baby Piano
How many children have their very own baby grand piano? Encourage your child to be creative at the piano and he will be composing and playing ballads just like Schroeder in the comic strip Peanuts. This unique miniature is designed to encourage the very young to play and develop a love of music. Chromatically tuned with a full 2-octave span, small hammers strike metal rods, producing lovely chime-like tones. The piano never goes out of tune and the tone never changes.

The Learning System, with its play-by-color assortment of songs, is designed to bring immediate success. A removable color strip fits behind the keys to guide small fingers, and works on adult keyboards, since keys on Schoenhut toy pianos are of corresponding width. This teaches children proper "finger stretch" from the very beginning.

The accompanying songbook contains a collection of familiar tunes. This Learning System has been specially designed to build a child's confidence and develop basic playing skills. For ages 3 years and up.

    When daughter gets fussy, I let her pound out her excess energy with her piano! It's just like her great-grandpa's big piano! Stool is very light, though, I have stashed it away in the closet for when she gets bigger and understands it's not something to carry around the house! We love this toy very much! It has a beautiful sound to it (like chimes!) and is very fun and educational at the same time! Music is fundamental and there are just so many proven benefits for children who are introduced to music early.

    Purchased for Christmas. [...] the Keyboard DID NOT WORK AT ALL. No sound - looks like manufacturer has very poor quality control because it wasn't just one or two keys that didn't work - IT WAS ALL OF THEM - NO SOUND. Very disappointing and was the only thing my kiddos asked Santa for - we had to go to Toys R Us to purchase another brand which we are very happy with. Brand we got was First Act Discovery. What I also liked better about this brand was that it has 4 legs and is much sturdier - the tripod 3 legged piano from Schoenhut is easy to tip over.All in all, I wouldn't recommend this piano to my other Mommy friends - better pricing and better quality at Toys R Us on the First Act Discovery.

        This is the worst investment of an educational toy. The sound is horrible. The paper chart for matching the keys to the songbook is a cheap piece of paper and the book that accompanies it is also cheap. I don't see how a toddler can learn to play this piano with the tools given or that it would keep their attention long enough to be taught by an adult. If a want your child to sit an bang on a piano buy one for under 20 dollars. Don't be fooled by the makers name. This product is way over priced and not educational.

              This was a gift for my 22 month old niece and she loves it. She sits and bangs on the keys and laughs. The quality of this is exceptional.
              it really looks like a mini-baby grand! It is def. something she will use for a couple years as it comes with educational stickers to help teach young children how to play. Great purchase!

                Piano is attractive and just the right size for little hands. I'm not sure about the color strip that is supposed to line up with the keys. I have no piano knowledge and the directions are confusing to me. We will be asking advise from some who plays piano. All in all a nice piano and my daughter loves it.

                  This piano is great. We ordered it on a Sunday night and it arrived Thursday afternoon. My daughter plays it all the time, and everytime anyone walks into our house from age 1 to 61 the first thing they do is go over to play it.
