      My 4-year girl LOVES her Schleich toys. Her bday was only the animals and a couple playsets. The truck is incredibly well-designed and detailed. The rubber tires come off (on purpose) and come with a spare in case of a wreck with a charging rhino. The sides fold up and down as well as the tailgate (also snap on and off if desired). The truck is so nice we are looking to buy the complimenting trailer so she can haul more animals. The crates are well-made and heavy duty. She has been enjoying her set for a month and no broken parts or complaints. The tree is soft-ish and neat and when she removed the green foliage the tree branches are color-coded to reattach the greenery. As always the animals are flawless in detail and durable. My husband was skeptical about the prices of this brand but after playing with her he is delighted and says all toys should be this great and has said start watching for Schleich bargains for Christmas. Meijer's has [...] great pricing. I have bought three-more sets from Meijer's for her since this first purchase. thank you.

        I have been looking for a play set to be used by my Grandson who has collected almost all of the animals Schleich has made. I was very excited when I discovered the set, as was he when he received it for his 8th birthday. It is just what he needed. He can now pretend that he is in Africa and can house his animals in and around the compound.
