Have had this for a few years now and we love it. It holds cd and movies amazingly. It's sturdy and looks great. One reason we got this was to help child proof our movies when we had our daughter. It's really easy to close and child proof to keep the movies and cd's from becoming a toy and getting broke or lost because of it. It's clean a looking and can keep things on the top too. Planning on getting another one because we like it so much.

I purchased this specific media cabinet as it matched the TV credenza I had already purchased. The top shelves won't handle normal DVDs (too tall) but Blu-Rays fit fine. There is a lip on the front of shelves that prevent many DVDs that have less conventional packaging from fitting snuggly. Overall, I think it would do nicely, in fact, I may need another one as my media library grows.

THis is a great product. Very sturdy. I bought my first one about 3 years ago. It has held up very well over that time with 3 kids all under 8. The doors closing is great because the little ones cant get into the movies with out me opening it up for them. We tied a rubber band around the two handles to keep them out. it also help control dust. It holds a ton of DVDs and Blue rays. Great product.

This cabinet looks great and fairly easy to put together. The one door slightly drags down, but it's very slight. I tried re-hinging a few times, but can't see to correct. Either open or close, you can't tell; you can only tell when opening you feel it dragging slightly.

it hold quite a few dvd and cd's. The VHS tapes do take up quite a bit of space, so if you have a lot of VHS, this may not be the cabinet for you. Also, a few of the box dvd's don't quite fit in the upper shelf, you have to use the middle or lower shelf as they are too tall.

All in all, it looks great, the wood seems sturdy, and I would definitely purchase again.

I am expecting a baby in October so wanted to do some baby proofing before she is born. My husband and I wanted somewhere to put all our dvd's that was easy to keep baby out of and didn't take much room in our smallish livingroom but also looks good. This does the trick. It looks very nice, just what we wanted. It is sturdy so we don't have to worry about baby and it closes which will make is easy to keep baby out of. I love it and very pleased with it. I love how it looks and It's something we would use to keep dvd's in even with no baby.
