I will be using this in my guest room as a laptop desk. The desktop has a dime-sized gash on the top near where the keyboard drawer opens, so that will need to be replaced. I will call the manufacturer tomorrow to see about getting that done.

looks nice but hard to assemble

It took about an hour to put together and the small drawer wouldnt go together so we had to buy liquid nail to get it to stay together. It looks nice when completed but you better have good wood glue handy.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
