One corner of the top is damaged...can't really see it unless you know it's there. So, I finished putting it together. It's way to big. It doesn't work with a captains bed frame. I'm considering cutting off about 5in from the bottom, maybe it would work then. This headboard WILL ONLY WORK WITH A METAL FRAME, nothing else! It is nice looking and much stronger than I expected, but nothing fancy. You do get what you pay for though!

Our son was moving up from a toddler bed, to a twin size bed. We have been looking for months for just a head board that wasn't tall! Something that was very simple. After being frustrated with all the retailers, we went online. This head board works out great. It is not too tall, my son loves the shelves to put his stuff on. I know he will have it for a long time.

I bought two of these for my boys room. They were very easy to assemble and look so much more expensive than what I paid for them! I went all over town before finding these online and ordering them![...]and so nice looking! The extra storage is just what their room needed!

This is an excellent product. Meijer's price makes this a can't miss. It was very easy to assemble and doesn't take up a lot of room. The storage capacity of this unit is great, whether you use it for books, cd's, or various display items.
