I was looking for a small radio that I could use while working in the garden and around the house, and also while at work. I wanted something small enough to carry at all times and I wanted it to have a speaker because I don't like to wear ear phones, except when necessary like at the office. I decided to purchase the Sangean DT210 Radio because it met my specific requirements and had other features that were a plus. I like the digital controls, the sound booster, the lock, and other features. I get great reception, but I also live close to a major city. I was surprised at the quality of the sound, that was an unexpected benefit. It does sound great. It's also built very strong. During the first week I dropped the radio twice. It still works fine and I can't find any scratches. I'm a talk radio fanatic and the Sangean DT210 is just perfect for my needs.

I love this radio - it is easy to use, lightweight, and reliable. The only downside (which is probably not the fault of the radio) is that it doesn't work in the grocery store I shop at, which is why I bought it (can't miss Rush from 12-3!). Apparently, the building has too much metal in it, which prevents reception. I'm only able to tune in when I'm in the check-out lane. Just something to think about if you plan to buy a radio to alleviate the boredom of grocery shopping :)

Great little radio. Provides great reception, is light weight, has the flexibility of an external speaker and headphone plug-in. Gets very good reception even in a large office building where other radios get poor or non-existent reception. I would buy this radio again.
