            We bought this base as a secondary to go along with our Safety 1st On Board Air 35 infant Car Seat. Works just fine, however the one that came with the car seat is a bit nicer and has some features that help with ease of installation. You can also purchase the upgraded model separately but I didn't feel it was necessary to spend the extra $$ on a base, and truly, this is good enough! (The nicer model was a bit hard to figure out anyway!)

            Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
