Comments about Rush Creek Rustic Pine Log Spinning Fishing Rod Rack:

Rod holder clips on this device have a EXTREMELY poor design. They are made of some type of hard plastic or rubber which is really stiff, especially if the temperature is below about 60 degrees. Their design makes it nearly impossible to just "snap" a rod into or out of, quickly. You absolutely have to use 2 hands, and even then, it isn't easy unless the rod is about like an ultralite rod's diameter.
When I tried to simply pull a rod out of the "clip", the whole clip came off of the wooden rack. It was only held on with a staple. I anticipate that this problem will be a frequent occurance. Also the diameter of these clips is not big enough for anything more that a medium diameter rod.
I am trying to think of how to use this rack, because my wife gave it to me as a present, and I intend to keep it. I will probably have to remove all of the holder clips and replace them with something I haven't invented or found yet. I wouldn't buy another one of the rod racks unless the holder clips are re-done.
      Johnny
