Look and feel of my 30-06! Nice -- Impressed with the feel and look for sure!Scope is a little difficult to zero in. We found the open sights a little more accurate but not as cool looking!1. Clean bore and all parts upon arrival2. Tighten screws and apply Locktite is a good idea – scope, bolts & screws once setup3. First few shots very loud and a lot of recoil, then less with break in at 100-500 shots4. Powerful, hollow points flatten out into a big piece of lead while Sheridan .20 Cal (5 mm) in a phonebook are whole due to being pointed5. Hard to get scope zeroed in but took about 80 clicks to move it 3 inches up, not 1 click for ¼ inch at 100 yds as stated in directions.6. Umarex USA imports this gun from China and the almost identical Diana RWS 34 from Germany with a lifetime warranty versus the one year on this one7. Best pellet for this gun is the Crosman Premier Hollow points and they are cheap8. Impressed for our first Springer and great price when we have had nothing but pump up Sheridans from the 1970s and 80s which are the most accurate air gun we have used.9. Great price[...]

I like this gun every much except for the scope!
Because the scope that come with the gun is suck.
Meaning the recoil can brake out the crosshair inside the scope I only took 2 shoot and the crosshair just broke. All you have to do is replace a new $50-70 co$t scope. If your looking for a gun to use at you back yard this gun is not a good gun for that, because this is loudness if you don't use sliencer or anything you might be complain by your neighbors. And if you looking for a hunting gun then, "Yes" this is the gun you looking for!
    sorry for my bad English.

Comments about Ruger Air Hawk Combo Pellet Rifle with Scope:

I was very bummed when the first time I went to use this it did not work properly. The gun did not load when it was cocked. I contacted Ruger and they got me a return label and should have it repaired and back to me [...] Hopefully all will be fine when I get it back.

Comments about Ruger Air Hawk Combo Pellet Rifle with Scope:

I own a RWS Diana 350 in 22 cal and a RWS 145 in 177 and have shot them for years. I purchased the Ruger Air Hawk for a friend based upon the recommendations of an air rifle forum. The experts said the guts of the Air Hawk are basically the same as the RWS 34. I have not given the Air Hawk to my friend yet and I have not shot it. But when I raise the gun to my shoulder to air the gun feels bulky. When the stock is on my shoulder I cannot see the sights easily without crunching my neck. When the scope is attached then it should be Ok. I would not buy another one but for [$] it is an acceptable starter air gun.

Fun gun! Great as a first gun to learn about safety and just for plinking at targets. For the money, I would pay the difference and buy a Ruger Model 10/22 rifle.

Comments about Ruger Air Hawk Combo Pellet Rifle with Scope:

The quality is high for an air rifle made in China and at this price point.
The wood stock is solid and quite substantial with a smooth nicely sealed finish quite like a Ruger 10/22. I was also suprises that this stock fit me perfectly when shouldered. I am 6'2" and most rifle stocks are too short when shouldered, this was also a suprise as I bought this for my 10 year old daughter.
I must say I won't mind adding this to my collection!
The only down side as of this time are some nylon or plastic component where I belive there should be metal( trigger, trigger guard and end cap).

Great air rifle for the money!
