    We have had a veg-o-matic for 30+ years finally the finish on the aluminum parts wore off. We use it primarly for dehidrating apple rings. We ordered a new one and am sorry to say that veg-o-matic no longer makes the slicing blade for slicing apples or potatoes. I wish they would because other than the above issue it is a great machine.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
