    This is such an economical way to have a healthy alternative snack. The price to buy one bag of dried bananas is around $4. For that price, I am able to dry and bag 1 Gallon Zip Lock baggie full. Other good ideas are cherries, apricots, pineapple, mangos and grapes (these take alittle longer to dry but actually are terrific!)

      Purchased when our son was hiking the Appalachian Trail so we could send him dried foods. Loved it and use it to dry fruit and vege. for ourselves.
      Fun to try new things. Good flavor. Dries evenly; but you need to keep an eye on progress.
