We use this skillet almost daily. I have had it so long that I wasn't sure where we got it. I typed it in and here it is. I have been looking at different places and never thought to check Meijers. I am very happy to know where I can get another one. This would make a great gift for yourself or others. I am getting me a new one and may get a couple for gifts for my kids. I recommend this product, I love the removable pan because it makes cleaning it so easy.

I would not buy this product again. My last rival skillet (large) was bought in 1972 and lasted for years without any problem. Was still working when I got this one as a gift. Within a few months, coating was pealing and now, I'm afraid to use it so guess I will toss.

Bought two of these pans for a reception to keep food warm, worked great. Later tried to fry chicken in them but they DO NOT get hot enough. Had to transfer chicken to range top. Thinking I may have gotten two lemons, store exchanged them for me but the new ones are the same way. These pans were too expensive to only be able to use them to keep food warm. Love the feature that pan can be removed from element and washed, easy to clean.

finally! although i already had an electric skillet, the inconvience of trying to clean it and not being able to submerge it in water was a pain, to say the least. cleanup is soooo easy with the detachable base. you can serve in it, and then, right to the sink for cleaning. in addition to my grill, i use the electric skillet alot in the summer because it doesn't heat up the house. one of those products that you just don't want to do without.
