If you sit directly in the middle of the chair it is fairly comfortable. However, if you scoot forward there is limited padding and you can feel what appears to be a small square box on the left side of the seat under the thigh, perhaps a motor box? The motor is loud, making conversation on the phone or in person difficult and distracting. It is very attractive looking though and both the base of the chair and ottoman are covered in material rather than chrome like many other similar models. Assembly was easy, but it would be nice if there was height adjustment ability, especially if you are using it for an office chair. This particular chair had a couple of stitches right in the center that were not tight, and which I hope will not pull out further with repeated use. But this could be limited to one, and not indicative of every chair. Overall, not a bad chair for the money,but spending a bit more on another model might be worth it, I would still recommend it though if you are on a tight budget. Its appearance is it greatest asset.

Real nice chair,but the back does'nt sit up straight enough for me and I do have the lever all the way forward.Other than that it is real comfortable to sit in.

My husband and I have to compromise over "chair time". For the price, it was a great buy. The chair is great looking, comfortable, and fits in well with the decor. However, the massage functions could be better and less noisy.
