When I sit down to watch a movie, it takes about 15 minutes to get started because of the remote. It takes numberous clicks or holding down of the bottoms for 3 solid seconds before there is a response on the screen. Then it skips 4-5 selections from where you wanted. The face plate of the disk holder was bent when I bought it, so it wouldn't open to input a disk. I have to push it upwards for the disk tray to be able to open.
