1ST PROBLEM: Our TV is in the basement. I'm not sure that ANY antenna would really do wonders for our reception. I purchased a set of rabbit ears as well, just in case we could get by with something cheaper, but they only picked up 2 channels and they weren't clear.OUTCOME: We did, however, manage to pick up 6 major network channels (3 in HD, 2 in digital, 1 in SD) after mounting this antenna on the wall next to the window. I was hoping for at least 20.... would've been satisfied with 10.2ND PROBLEM: I paid [$] for this antenna at Meijer, yet it's for sale on their website for [$] I'm very UNHAPPY that I could've saved over $14 by shopping online.OUTCOME: It's already mounted so I probably won't deal with the hassle of taking it down, packing everything back up, and returning it to the store. HOWEVER, I will be taking my receipt to the store and asking for a refund for the difference.OVERALL, I regret purchasing this particular antenna. I think an outdoor antenna would have worked much better. But at least we have SOME channels now and my husband can watch games in HD again.... with no cable/dish bill.

I would not expect anyone to buy this on account of the troubles I had with this particular model. The first one that was given to me for christmas worked fine for two days before the flat antenna part stopped recieving any channels. Second, one after it was exchanged has a bad wire and is bad. So I would have to say when the antenna goes bad it really slips into its own acoma fast!!
