Our 7 year old son LOVES the Razor Rocket Pocket Mini Motorcycle and so do his friends. It sounds like, and is fast enough to feel like, a real motorcycle, but not so fast that Mom feels a heart attack coming on as she watches...although we make sure he wears every bit of gear as he rides and can see how a face helmet is necessary - one wrong turn would definitely have you eating cement. This is a solid little bike, but the plastic is a bit flimsy and could be more durable; we'll see how it holds up. Thus far it has been a mega hit, providing our boy rides it as intended - with his feet on the foot pedals and not extended in front (throws off your balance), which he has tried on several occasions, only to wobble and nearly crash. Not sure how long size will matter - our 11 year old daughter finds it too uncomfortable to ride and it looks like you have to be a contortionist to ride if you're bigger. And it's certainly too hard on his parents' knees, so we're not sure about those reviews that say even adults can ride... All in all, though, it is a terrific product and thus far we've loved every Razor ride we've ever purchased - and they are all proving to stand the test of time as well.

this razor pr200 is so slow i was verey disapointed it only did like 14mph and im 13 i was so mad so i got the xp700 wich is by razor and that one is good it can go 20+mph out of the box and you can make it go 30+mph with the plus 5 kit and it is verey good but this razpr is bad

    This pocket rocket is safer than most scooters and other electric bikes and a lot more fun. Since the rider is 9 he is only allowed to drive it around his home and on the tennis courts.

            My 7 yr old loves his pocket rocket. I wasn't sure about getting it for him since the age says 13+. However, after reading reviews, I felt comfortable getting it for him since he has been riding his bike with no training wheels for a couple years now. I think that's the key....the child should be very good at riding their bike with no training wheels before getting the pocket rocket.

            The toy is wonderful, my boys love it. It is small enough to ride inside the basement until weather permits outdoor use. My youngest was afraid at first but once he heard it start and it had no loud noise he was riding in a hurry.
