My 9 year old son has this now since a year and he had a lot of fun. Whenever it was working - it was unbelievable fun for him.
The problem is that after some time a lot of pieces need to be replaced again and again :
- tires are wearing down pretty fast
- batteries are dying pretty fast
- electronic controls stop working
and much more. Basically since we bought it for him, I would say we paid the same again for the pieces to keep it running.
Therefore as much fun as it is for our son, I don't think I would recommend it to a friend.

Fun and the kids love it...good for and hour of fun and charges up fairly quickly! Excellent value.

THE RAZOR DRIFTER IS AWESOME...MY SON REALLY ENJOYS IT. MEIJER'S PRICE WAS GREAT AS WELL. :)

My 9 year old son loves his go-kart. It goes just fast enough for him to feel like he is 'driving' through the neighborhood to his friends' houses. He parks it in the garage next to my SUV and puts it on the charger each night. It can only go for about an hour total drive time (which is lots of trips to and from friends' houses in the neighborhood) without a charge. He saved his birthday money to buy this, and he is very happy with his purchase!

My son has tons of fun riding this cart. It is easy to drive and easy to control. I expected that the batteries would run down really fast but it lasts much longer than I expected. Typically he can get 45 minutes of riding time out of one charge. We are very happy with this purchase.

I bought it for my 8 yr. old. He loves it, but it doesn't last that long without a charge.

The first 2 weeks were great, my 6 year old really enjoyed his new toy. At the end of the 2 weeks the motor fried. I contacted Razor and within 2 weeks I had a new motor. Come on, only 2 weeks of fun and it needed a motor! Seems like an issue that they need to work out..

Son loves the go-kart. He weighs about 115 lbs so I was concern about his size slowing the go-kart down but the go-kart is still fast & enjoyable. I am concern about the durability - it has stopped 2 times due to lose wires (not hard to fix) and the safety belt had a problem from the manufacture [...] I was very tempted to return but of course I didn't since my son truly enjoys it.
