              We bought two of the Ray Padula Time It Deluxe. They sounded too good to be true, and they were. One ran down the batteries while we were away, and plants suffered. It had been installed about a month. A second one broke because it's made of plastic. The Ray Padula Company sent me two new ones because they have a five-year guarantee. The second two also had problems. One leaks a little bit, and the other leaked so much it flooded the yard. Now when I email and phone the Ray Padula Company, they don't even answer. Maybe they know that their timers are junk. I'm curious as to how the other reviewers feel about their timers after using them for awhile. We won't be buying any more of them.

              Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

                I bought two of these and while the one works perfectly the other doesn't seal well so it leaks when it turns on.

                I needed a timer to time for 10 hours. Most garden hose timers only run for 2-4 hours so I bought this one. Keeps accurate time and works well to start and stop flow of water.

                Had some problems with programing until I realized that different times could be set for all 7 days of the week. Thus I had to tell it to open the valve at 10am on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, etc.

                Only problem is that it leaks. On the back is a part that can open to clean the valve. I cannot get it to stop leaking. Put a bucket under it and it leaks about 15 gallons a day. Tried sealing it with another washer, some teflon tape, and with Silicone adhesive. So far with no luck in stopping the leaking. I am still experimenting with options to stop the leakage as I otherwise like the timer.

                Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

                  This lawn sprinkler control has it all around...it just plain works well, and keeps working well. I can control multiple cycles each day, can set it to the minute for time and duration, and is really designed to be programmed in a logical and straightforward sequence of key strokes. It is easy to read in daylight, and is made of new, high-tech plastics for strength, ease of installation , and water-proofing.Its cover makes it even more protected. I've used many other brands and types of lawn water timers, and those experiences give me great comparisons to this really well-designed product. It is the answer to a great water-saver for today's conservationalist.

                  Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
