    The nightmare that is Q-See. I'm not sure where to begin.
    After getting the system, I verified that all the cameras worked, which is good, because when I installed in outdoors 6 weeks later, one of the cameras was dead. Got that returned for a working one thru the mail.
    The software was out-of-date, so you must insert an empty USB stick to download new firmware.
    But what is really annoying is that the manual on the CD, the Internet support and the videos to help you all say different things and even have different icons.
    There's a lot not to like about this. Colors are terrible and the adjustments only helped a little - nothing like what the scenery really looks like.
    Searching and trying to copy a portion of the footage is another nightmare.
    Remote monitoring - I've been working with Q-See for 4 weeks now and I'm no closer to getting this working.
    Plan on spending many, many hours working on this system.
    I will be posting my experiences on YouTube. Look for Q-See and TPOT.
