I love this product. It runs quietly and does not disrupt my babies sleep. I love the option for cool or warm mist, and the ability to select the size of the mist.

It's a little messy because it drips when refilling but it works nice; not sure how humid it gets the air but we trust it helps with the dry air while sleeping.

I heat with a wood stove that dries the air. This unit adds needed moisture to the room. It starts very fast.

This humidifier has a mind of it's own. It will usually run for about 6 hours and then beep twice and turn itself off. I have only had it for about 3 weeks, and will be returning it. This brand has had major issues with most of their product line. I just wish I did my research first. It's too bad, because when it worked, it did so quite well.

The germ guardian is quiet, effective, and does not require filters. Great for anyone who has allergies. My son needs a humidier in the winter time and it works a lot better than any we've ever had. I highly recommend it.

After about a week's use, the interior of the base (where the water is) was coated with a thin brown film. I don't know if it is mineral deposits or the beginnings of mold or some other biological substance. I would wipe it down every few days but it is a nuisance and didn't make me feel I was "guarded from germs". I replaced it with an Air-O-Swiss which remains brown film free.

This product was ok when I first got it. After two weeks of use, the product stopped producing a mist. My father referred this product to me a week after he purchased one. I ordered the product online since I live in Wisconsin and there no stores around me. My fathers unit stopped producing a mist around the same time that mine did. I have tried to reach the customer service number that is provided in the instructions and have yet to contact anyone. I have left 4 messages in 2 weeks and have yet to receive a response. Terrible product and terrible customer service. I strongly recommend staying away from this product.
