    I have used this Salad Shooter for many years shredding potatoes to make Hash Browns for myself, to start, then for my kids by request and now for my Grand kids by demand. Has worked great, but now starting to make strange noises. Time to start looking for a new one to replace the old and keep the tradition going.

        I am delighted to have a Presto Professional Salad Shooter in my possession again. This is my third. They do wear out or break. I was happy to find a source on line, especially at a Meijer's. Would have preferred to buy one locally, but could not find one one in the Local [...] The item does seem to wear out or break before it's time, but that might be my overworking it. I hope it doesn't disappear from the market like another kitchen tool that I used frequenty. That was a "Cordless Knife." I think maybe the government had a hand in removing those. Thanks for making such a handy "cook's aid." Suzanne Newman
