This works great so that you can quickly get pancakes (or other items) ready for the whole family at the same time to eat hot food together.

Like all electric grill type items, the surface area farthest from the plug in heat source never gets as hot and you might have to move things like bacon to get them done but it still does well overall.

            I have 14 grandchildren. When we have a family breakfast together, I can keep the pancakes flowing with this grill. In my experience, there is uneven heat only about an inch from the sides. My pancakes come out great.

              Great for cooking a large breakfast. Get all your pancakes at once. Perfect for camping. The edges of the griddle are not evenly heated, pancakes on the edge are always lighter. If the grease cup falls on a solid surface it seems to crack too easily.

              Don't know how I ever got along without this. Now, I can sit down and eat breakfast with my family, since I can get everything done at the same time with this. Yes, the heat is not even--but that is a plus for me, since some items cook better in the cooler section (such as eggs) while others need the hotter one (such as pancakes).
