    The sound quality on my new super thin flatscreen tv left a lot to be desired, so I did some research and this soundbar got good reviews. I was not willing to spend a fortune on a soundbar with a bunch of bells and whistles, I just wanted quality sound for the tv in the great room for movies and music. This doesn't have a fancy remote or on screen displays, but for my needs, it's perfect! I purchased an optical cable to hook it up..it doesn't come with any cables, so keep that in mind. Star Trek TNG was on when I first hooked it up, and I was blown away...I could even hear the sound of the Enterprise's engine through the subwoofer!! This is an excellent value on a soundbar. Highly recommend!
