    This gate will stop most dogs but determined dogs with a lot of force behind them can knock it out of position. If your dog fights confinement you should probably get a stronger barrier.

    There is a gap between the roof and the top of the gate, smaller dogs might be able to climb and fit through.

    It took about 20 minutes to install and is easy to pop out and replace when needed. For dogs that will respect the visual barrier this is a good barrier.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Small hatchbacks beware!

    This gate cannot get so small so as to be just 23" high, as is claimed both online and on the box. Nothing I could do would get it into my Subaru.
