The Pet Vehicle Safety Harness is designed with your pet's safety and comfort in mind. Heavy-duty straps attach to a fully-padded, fleece-lined safety vest while metal connectors at all the load-bearing points keep your pet secure without fear of breakage. The safety leash is made from a special material that is strength-rated, but provides a slight amount of stretch to absorb shock in the case of a sudden stop.

The unique leash design integrates with the vehicle's seat belt tensioning device, thus providing range of motion while traveling, but in the case of a sudden stop it locks in place to keep pets secure. Easy to install in any vehicle, the design also makes it easy to load and unload your pet.

    Comments about Pet Vehicle Safety Harness - Black Small:

    This was for my first little dog's first long car ride. Previous short rides had been in my lap or in a soft-sided crate that fit on the passenger seat. But for 10+ hours in the car, the former wouldn't be safe and the latter seemed rather uncomfortable for her. The harness fit comfortably and was snug. It might be a bit warm for summer travel, but padding would keep her safe from bruising of 'seatbelt harness' if it weren't padded, so I think the padding is a 'pro' no matter what time of year. She could still move about the seat, but couldn't climb around the car; and she could lie down comfortably, while having me in full view at all times. This dog is not high-strung, but can be 'nervous' at times, and this product didn't affect her negatively at all. I think that this harness is a well-made product for a good price -- and I think for owners', pets' and other drivers' safety, a seat harness is the best way to travel with a pet. She'll be using it from now on for short trips too -- and the set-up is easy to keep the connector in the car and stow in very little space!

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
