    I bought this carrier for my slender 11-pound, three-year-old Jack Russell Terrier. She fits, but barely. I would recommend it for smaller dogs under 10 pounds. It is very well made and has lots of great features.

    Needed a good carrier for Southwest flight and their restrictions are a little tighter than most airlines. Went ahead and purchased this carrier even though the dimensions were a little bigger than what Southwest advertised online. Pet Carrier was very nice. You could tell it was a little cheap...there was 1 thread already starting to unravel but after snipping it off the carrier held my 11 lb Maltese perfectly. She seemed fairly comfortable. I will note that the carrier didn't fit perfectly under the seat...the bottom is reinforced so it was hard to "smoosh" it down but I was able to do it without hurting the carrier or my puppy.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
