        I purchased this product to take in my vehicle to aide my 8 yr old German Shepherd into the vehicle. It works very well for this with the exception of the weight rating on it. It is only rated for 75 lbs so therefore it bows a bit when my 120 lb shepherd steps on it. Otherwise a good investment for my old pal.

        Unfortunately it was too short for my 14 year old mini-schnauzer to be able to use it. Also, he wasn't crazy about it and wouldn't use it at all. Had to return it. Might be ok for other dogs but mine was way too wary of it.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        These are very good steps for small to medium dogs. Easy to assemble and seem sturdy for weight limits listed. Only problem is getting the dog to use them.
