Comments about Pennsylvania Dutch Portabella Mushrooms - Chunky Style - 1 Can (4 oz):

These tiny portabella pieces jazz up pasta sauces and many other dishes. Sometimes I stir-fry them when I brown my meat; othertimes I just toss them in the pot. Portabella mushrooms have a stronger flavor than other mushrooms but these don't overpower; just add a subtle savoriness to the dish. I used to make special trips to the one grocery chain where I could find these mushrooms. Then I discovered that Meijer sold them for about 2/3 that grocery chain's price! Now Meijer is my go-to store for stocking up on canned mushrooms (between the portabellos and the Meijer-brand mushrooms, which are also an excellent value, I go through MANY cans of mushrooms!)

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
