My dog has had the large version for roughly 30 minutes and the toy is done. Granted he really digs the toy, and it's not Pitty durable. My Aussie may chew on it and it may hold up for longer. Consider a more durable toy for heavy chewers. Big bummer.

My dog loved this toy for the first hour he played with it. The next hour, he was throwing up in his crate and on my living room floor. It breaks into tiny little pieces that will be swallowed regardless of whether the dog wants to actually eat them. It's also got a tire smell which makes me question whether it's toxic to dogs. This toy is not worth the potential danger it could lead to. I am surprised this is still being sold.

I have a lab that tore through this tire in a matter of hours. After a couple of days we had to take it away from him as he had chewed it up so much, I was afraid he woul choke on the pieces he was chewing off. I am going back to square one to find Jack the perfect toy.

my dog really liked this toy. he did manage to chew it up and now needs a new one but it kept him entertained and he had fun doing it.

my 8 month old pit destroyed it in less than a week, she bit right through it and tore strips out of it

My ridgeback loves it, but destroys it from the middle. Lots of pieces missing now. Only 1 week of fun.

My 1-year old Lab loves his TireBiter and it's the first toy he hasn't been able to destoy. It's great to use for play with your dog as well; the TireBiter can be rolled on end for chasing or tossed. A must have for strong chewers!
