Optimum Nutrition 100% Any Whey Protein Powder
This product is optimized for cooking and other whey protein fortification uses. Just add into your favorite foods and beverages. Each serving (1 level scoop, included in this container provides 17 grams of virtually tasteless protein. Quick Foods: Yogurt, Oatmeal/Oat Bran, Cold Cereals, Cottage Cheese, Peanut Butter, Nonfat Cream Cheese, Sugar-free Pudding, Hot Cereals. Cooking /Condiments: Waffles, Pancakes, Salad Dressings, Soups and Stews, Gravies and Sauces, Low-fat Dips, Mashed Potatoes, Low-fat Mayonnaise or Sour Cream, Omelets, Lasagna Filling. Baking: Muffins, Cake Mixes, Breads/Quick Breads, Cookies, Biscuits. Beverages: Fruit Juices, Sports Beverages, Dairy, Soy, or Rice Milk, Smoothie, Coffee or Tea, Weight-Gain and Post-Workout Recovery, Shakes. Baking Tips: Protein has a tendency to toughen the texture of baked goods, so you may need to adjust your recipe(s) to accommodate the inclusion of this product.

Here are some general suggestions: (1) Don't over mix-? add this product to the other dry ingredients in your recipe before blending with the wet ingredients. Once combined, mix batter just long enough to ensure that the dry ingredients have been moistened by the wet ingredients. (2) Replace all-purpose flour with equal amounts of pastry flour. For a more healthful twist, try using whole-wheat pastry flour. (3) Add about 10% more vegetable oil, butter, or margarine to the recipe. These fats tenderize the batter and will help to counteract any toughness or chewiness that adding extra protein to the recipe may cause. (4) Start off with 1 scoop of protein and add more (if desired) until you reach the point where you feel as though the quality of the recipe is compromised. Note: The high protein content of this product may promote more rapid browning in baked goods. Please monitor last few minutes of baking time for browning and adjust time as needed.
