          I bought a smaller sized bone than the one in the pic, it is a nylabone and has the same durability. My puppy is a 14 lb shorkie and he is a strong chewer- gets through a frisbee in less than a week!! He does have a flexible nylabone chew which he is chewing through. He has been unable to do so with the durable nylabone.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          I bought this for a Christmas present for the dog that lives at my mom's house. This dog is old, bored, lame, and sad. The only thing I could think of that it could do for fun still was chew. I asked my mom why the dog didn't have chew toys and she said that no matter what she got he ALWAYS chewed it to shreds within minutes. I checked about how this chew toy was working out and it is still going strong. The dog loves it and likes to play with it beyond chewing. It's amazing. I was so happy to bring cheer to his otherwise limitted existence. Buy this sturdy, fun chew.
