Has the potential to give extra room in ones closet. But as most closets have a rod in a basically set height, this doesn't work well. Only quite short items can go on top. Nothing long, as the adjustable sides of the hanger aren't very long. Mostly I feel it could only be good for a child's closet as their clothes aren't usually as long as an adults or for something like handbags

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
