    2nd time I made jerky with it the plastic cracked almost the length of the tube. I did not mis handle it, nor drop it. I used it correctly and the meat was a very workable temperature. Buy the metal one, don't waste your [$]. I was so disappointed and it is too late to return it.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
