I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. He has used the product before for making his venison jerky. We couldn't find any in the local stores and he was disappointed. I found the Nesco American Harvest Jerky Spice Works online through Meijer.com. I was impressed by [...] and the freshness of the product! It also made my husband a happy man!

    Highly recommended. I just followed the directions with the exception of marinading. I let it sit for 24hrs before dehydrating.
