        Use this product every Sat and Sun for over 5 yrs. It is still working great. I feel I definitely got my money's worth. I just broke the carafe and am going to get a replacement one. Don't see it here online but I did see it in the store.

          I used it every day to heat water for a pot of tea--- it worked quickly and perfectly. Problem is, you can't get a replacement carafe locally, and to order one from Mr. Coffee is $15.99 plus S/H. So much for respecting our world's resources.

              We have purchased 3 of these units within the past few months and will not purchase any more of this brand/model. They are not even worth their cheap price. Our first one lasted only a few months. It would turn on but no longer brew. We purchased a replacement unit that lasted only 2 weeks. It would not even turn on. A third unit purchased 3 weeks ago is now dead - won't even turn on. Back to the store for another coffee maker. It will not be this model!! Looks like its back to a Bunn for us.

              Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

                            We bought one of these not long ago. Less than a month later and it won't brew a full pot. In fact putting in 12 cups of water gets us 3 cups of coffee right now. It also makes a ton of noise constantly and tends to make bad coffee (but that's mainly because we drink a pot of coffee over 1-2 hrs so it boils away).
                            I'm going to buy something better tomorrow.

                            Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
