      The Xoom is going to be a strong competitor to the IPAD2 when it comes out of BETA! This unit was not ready to be released the 4G and the SD card slot do not work and will not work until the 3.1 version of the firmware/OS comes out June 2011 best estimate.

      Many of the applications in the DROID Market DO NOT work at this time. Much like when new version of windows comes out applications have to re-written to work on a new operating system. Google Voice for VOIP for example does not run as well as Epocrates a software for doctors at our office. Hardware wise the unit is superior to anything we have every used in speed and ease of use. The front and rear cameras an excellent edition but we still lack Skype Video on Android, we do have Google Chat with video in this new version.

      If you can wait until the 3.1 Android comes you would be happier.
      I also would like to see the Android store start putting Droid 3x tested and approved logos on their products like Microsoft did when Windows 7 came out.

      When IPAD first came out if also had issues it just is a more mature product as of May 2011. However, with Andoids available from every vendor and every cell phone vendor it like the PC vs MAC all over again in the early years cost and availability of PC is why it dominated the market, Apple has a head start but will have to OPEN up to keep up.
