Comments about Montego Buffet - Espresso:

If you're looking for an average cabinet for light/moderate use, this will work. I have it in the landing area for my stairs and keep games and other miscellany in it. So it's not viewed from the main rooms of my house and doesn't get a ton of use. If I had bought it to be put in a more visible part of my house, I'd be disappointed. I thought I'd buy a second for my dining room, but have changed my mind. The finish is irregular in spots and had a few small nicks in the paint. If you anticipate heavier use, this may be a concern. And yes, the finish is kind of a paint rather than veneer. Plus it turned out to have a much more red tone than I expected. Also, I was able to assemble the whole thing myself, but I recommend getting help with the doors. I've assembled quite a few pieces of furniture like this over the years, and this was one of the more finicky/ill-fitting pieces I've encountered. I had to plane down one side of the back because it was too big and one cross support isn't quite long enough, so there's a gap. Luckily, this piece is inside so I just dealt with it. Overall value and quality (among assembly-required furniture) is average. Good thing it's stylish.
